Processing & Shipping Policy

At Muse Beauti, we are committed to ensuring your orders are delivered in a timely, secure, and efficient manner. Please review our shipping policy below for detailed information.

1. Order Processing

Orders are processed within 2-3 business days after your payment has been confirmed. Processing time does not include shipping duration.

2. Business Days and U.S. Holidays

Our business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Please note: All business operations, customer service, and order processing are handled on business days only. Shipping and delivery timeframes are based on business days, so keep this in mind when estimating your order's arrival or reaching out for support.

Orders WILL NOT BE PROCESSED OR SHIPPED on the following holidays. These dates are excluded when calculating shipping timeframes and processing durations:

3. Estimated Fulfillment Durations*

  • In-Stock Items: Fulfilled within 2-3 business days.
  • Custom Wigs: Please allow 7-10 business days for fulfillment.
    *Fulfillment durations exclude weekends and holidays.

The Estimated Shipping Durations Vary Based on The Type of Product you Order:

  1. Ready-to-Ship
    • Products that are in stock and available to ship immediately.
    • Examples: Ready-to-Ship Collection items, hair products, and tools.
    • Ships within: 3-5 business days.
  2. Non-Custom (Pre-Order)
    • Products that are ready-made or pre-made without any customization.
    • Examples: Bundles, closures, frontals, clip-ins, tape-ins, ponytails, U-part, and headband wigs (uncustomized).
    • Ships within: 5-10 business days.
  3. Custom (Pre-Order)
    • Products that require customization based on client specifications.
    • Examples: Custom wigs, signature wigs, and custom wig services.
    • Ships within: 15-20 business days.

Business days refer exclusively to Monday-Friday, excluding weekends and U.S. holidays.

4. Calculating Your Shipping Window

Your shipping window begins after your order has been processed. For example, if you select a 3-day shipping method and your order is processed in 2 days, your package should arrive within 5 business days from the order date.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Identify the First Business Day
    • The first business day is typically the next business day after your purchase date.
  2. Determine Your Fulfillment Duration
    • Refer to the Estimated Fulfillment Durations in Section 3 to identify the timeframe for your order type.
  3. Exclude Weekends
    • Remove Saturdays and Sundays from your calculation, as they are not considered business days.
  4. Exclude U.S. Holidays
    • Review the list of holidays in Section 2 and exclude any that fall within your shipping window.
  5. Calculate Your Shipping Window
    • Count only business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) from the first business day until you reach the end of the specified fulfillment range.

5. Order Tracking, Status, and Updates

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a UPS tracking number. Use this number to monitor your shipment’s status and delivery updates.

At Muse Beauti, we’ll keep you updated through your Order Confirmation and Shipping Confirmation emails. We don’t send individual updates during fulfillment, but you can track progress by counting business days and checking our Shipping & Fulfillment Process Diagram.

To ensure the safe delivery of your order, an adult signature is required upon delivery for all Muse Beauti packages.

If no adult is available to sign at the time of delivery, UPS will either:

  • Attempt redelivery at a later time, or
  • Redirect the package to a local UPS facility for customer pickup.

Please note:

  • Muse Beauti is not responsible for missed deliveries due to the unavailability of a signature.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone 21 years or older is available to sign at the time of delivery.
  • Packages that are returned to sender due to multiple failed delivery attempts may result in additional shipping fees or order cancellation without a refund on shipping costs.

We value the security of your purchase and appreciate your understanding.

Order Confirmation Email

Once your order is placed, an automated Order Confirmation Email will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout. This email is generated immediately and contains:

  • Your unique order number 
  • Detailed order information
  • Estimated shipping window
  • Additional relevant details about your order

Shipping Confirmation Email

You will receive a Shipping Confirmation Email as soon as your order has been shipped, based on the estimated shipping window provided. This email will include:

  • Tracking information to monitor your package during transit
    Note: It may take 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become active and updated on the UPS website.

To track your package:

  1. Click the direct link in your Shipping Confirmation Email.
  2. Alternatively, use the full tracking number provided to track your order on the UPS website for real-time updates on your package’s movements and delivery status.

By relying on these emails and tracking tools, you’ll stay informed about the status and location of your Muse Beauti order.

6. Shipping Methods and Costs

We offer various UPS shipping methods, including:

  • Standard Ground (3-4 business days)
  • Express (2-3 business days)

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method

Ground Shipping is the main method in which we ship all packages, which generally results in deliveries within 2-5 business days, varying based on the destination and other external factors.

Please note that these estimated delivery times may be impacted during peak seasons at the postal office, such as holiday season and election season.

 

Route Package Protection:

We’ve partnered with Route to offer our customers optional shipping protection for added peace of mind.

What is Route?
Route is a third-party app that allows you to easily protect your package against loss, theft, or damage during transit.

How it Works:

At checkout, you’ll see an optional line item called Route Package Protection.
By keeping this option selected, your order is covered.
If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged, you can file a claim with Route in just a few clicks.

How to File a Claim:

  1. Go to claims.route.com
  2. Enter your email and order number
  3. Submit your claim and Route will take care of the rest

💡 Note: If Route protection is declined at checkout, Muse Beauti is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

 

7. Order Pick-Up

We do not currently offer order pick-up. All orders are shipped directly to the provided address.

8. Shipping Delivery

The delivery timeline for your package is determined exclusively by UPS, our shipping carrier. Typically, packages are delivered within 2-5 business days after shipment. You can find the estimated delivery date through the tracking link provided in your Shipping Confirmation Email. Once your package is handed over to UPS, they assume full responsibility for its timely and secure delivery.

While Muse Beauti provides accurate shipping window estimates, specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed, as they depend on UPS operations and unforeseen circumstances such as:

  • Weather conditions
  • High shipping volumes
  • Disruptions within the carrier's network

Once your order has shipped, Muse Beauti no longer controls the delivery. Use the tracking link in your Shipping Confirmation Email to follow your package in real time.

For delivery questions or issues, please contact UPS directly—they can give you the most accurate updates.

UPS delivers between 9 AM and 7 PM, so be sure someone is available to receive your order, especially for high-value items.

9. Shipping Delays

We know how important timely delivery is, and we aim to ship orders quickly. However, some delays may happen due to factors inside or outside our control. If that happens, we’ll do our best to keep you informed. Please review the details below about possible delays.

Order Volume: During peak times, such as holidays, sales, or product launches, a higher volume of orders can affect processing and fulfillment times. While we prioritize fulfilling orders, the increased demand may result in slight delays. We appreciate your patience during these busy periods.

UPS Unforeseen Circumstances: Despite our best efforts, unexpected issues can arise within UPS's operations, including disruptions in their transportation network, technical difficulties, or other challenges. While these events are beyond our control, we will collaborate with UPS to resolve delays as quickly as possible.

Weather and Natural Events: Severe weather conditions, natural disasters, or other related events can disrupt transportation networks and cause unavoidable delays. Storms, hurricanes, snow, or floods may impact UPS's ability to deliver your package on time.

10. Lost/Stolen Packages

Muse Beauti is not responsible for lost or stolen packages marked as delivered by UPS.

While we strive to offer reliable and secure shipping services through UPS, it’s important to acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally lead to lost or stolen packages. Please review the following information regarding such situations:

Responsibility for Lost/Stolen Packages: Once your package is with UPS, they assume responsibility for its safe and timely delivery. In the rare instance that a package is lost or stolen during transit, please understand that this is beyond our control as the sender.

Assistance in Case of Lost/Stolen Packages: If your package is lost or stolen, we recommend contacting UPS directly for immediate assistance. They have the necessary resources and expertise to investigate and resolve the issue.

Tracking and Insurance: We know how important timely delivery is, and we aim to ship orders quickly. However, some delays may happen due to factors inside or outside our control. If that happens, we’ll do our best to keep you informed. Please review the details below about possible delays.

11. Wrong Address Disclaimer

Please verify your shipping address before finalizing your order. Muse Beauti is not responsible for packages shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

To ensure your package is delivered to the correct address, we kindly ask that you carefully review and double-check the shipping address provided during checkout. Unfortunately, once an order is placed, we are unable to modify the delivery address to prevent potential delivery disputes and ensure verification.

If you need to change your delivery address, we recommend using the UPS My Choice portal. This convenient tool allows you to manage and update your delivery preferences. After receiving your shipping confirmation email with your tracking number, simply click on the UPS Tracking link to create an account on the UPS My Choice portal. From there, you can make the necessary address changes.

12. International Shipping

We currently ship only within the United States. Stay tuned for future updates as we expand our shipping options!

13. Duties, Fees, and Taxes

All applicable sales taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout. Since we currently do not offer international shipping, no additional duties or fees apply.
